Term 6 in Squirrels Class.
It's term 6 already and this term we shall we finding out about the countries around the Mediterranean Sea in a topic called Why do people visit the Mediterranean? We will be finding out about the countries around the Mediterranean and their weather, food and most famous attractions. In science we are exploring light and shadows and in English we will be making a film! It should be an exciting term.
Welcome to Term 5!
This term we are finding out about plants and how they grow. We hope to grow runner beans and some other plants. We will be learning an adapting the story of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Term 3
Welcome back after all the fun and excitement of Christmas and New Year!
Our topic this term is Can you feel the force? a science topic about forces and magnets.

Term 2
Would you have survived in the Stone Age?
The Stone Age to the Iron Age.
We will be finding out about hunting and gathering food to eat and early farming. We will find out about the Stone Age, the Bronze Age and the Iron Age. We will be finding out about what sort of shelters they might have had and how they made them. How might they have communicated with each other? Did they tell stories? How do archaeologists know about the lives of people in prehistory?
Term 1 Squirrels' Class
Welcome back to another year at Staverton. We are starting the year with a topic called 'Did dinosaurs really roam around the British Isles?'. We shall be exploring this through rocks and fossils. We shall also be finding our about volcanoes, tsunamis and earthquakes.
