‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind’ and ‘love your neighbour as you love yourself.’ Luke 10:27
At Staverton C. of E. Primary School we live out our vision through our Christian values by being a compassionate community, nurturing resilience, promoting responsibility, developing high aspirations and having the courage to participate, flourish and be proud of our achievements.
Our Christian Values
These values are at the heart of everything we do here at Staverton Church of England Primary School. They reflect the qualities that staff and governors want the children to develop and display in all that they do.
These values permeate school life and feature, where appropriate in our values for life assemblies.
Values for Life
As a Church School we actively promote and use Values For Life. Each term (six times a year) we focus on a different Value for Life. Each week we have a whole school assembly to start the week followed by a mixture of class assemblies and key stage assemblies. We use stories from the Bible and real life to develop the values.
In order, the themes this year (September 2019 to July 2020) are :
Courage
Creativity
Peace
Trust
Forgiveness
Compassion
Below are newsletters outlining each of the Values designed to be read at home.
