Good morning Wolves,

We are sorry that we are not back together today or for the term. We were looking forward to seeing you all and hearing about your Christmas holidays. We are missing you all lots and are hoping that we will be able to stay connected. We have uploaded the next three days of online learning onto the website below. We will do all that we can to support you in any way we can so please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. If there are any problems accessing the resources or if you would like a printed version of the online resources, please email the school and we can print and prepare these for you.

Please take care, stay safe and stay smiling.

Just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from me! The children have all worked extremely hard this term and I am looking forward to seeing all the fabulous work and memories they create next term! I hope you all have a good rest and excellent time with loved ones.

Take care and I will see you in 2021.

We have had lots of Christmas fun! Here we are enjoying our Christmas party, Christmas treats and crafts!

We loved our class book - The House with Chicken Legs

Our final lesson on classification - exploring the nature in our wildlife area.

Bollywood dance!

Classification keys - this was our trial before we make our animal ones this week!

We are learning more Bollywood moves!

We are united against bullying. We wore odd socks to raise awareness and completed our puzzle piece showing what part we will play.

Here are some of our beautiful poems from Remembrance Day.

In our outdoor PE sessions, we are playing netball. Here are some of our action shots!

We are learning Bollywood dancing! Here is our first session!

We created our own brilliant nature sculptures inspired by Andy Goldsworthy!

Dear Wonderful Wolves,

I am sorry that your half term wasn't as you may have planned but I hope you still had a fabulous time, spending quality time with those around you and catching up on sleep, ready to start Term 2! Please find below the English and Maths work for the next two days:

English - For English, our focus this term will be Myths and Legends. To start this off, we would like you to familiarise yourself with the story of Theseus and the Minotaur. Please have a look through the power point of activities and complete a range of these over the two days.

Maths - For Maths, there is a set of reasoning and problem-solving questions based on areas of Maths we have already covered this year during Term 1 (Monday: Place Value and Tuesday: Four Operations). Please complete the questions independently and then use the mark scheme to mark your work. For the questions you have got incorrect, please re-work through them to spot your error. There are lots of resources on BBC bitesize and White Rose Maths that will hopefully be able to help you.

I hope you have a good two days back to Term 2, albeit slightly different than normal. The Year 5/6 bubble staff team are really looking forward to seeing you on all Wednesday.

Take care,

Miss Jefferys smiley

Another week of excellent homework! Here are some of the children playing their top trump games!

Here we are gathering new vocabulary to use in our scary setting descriptions!

The children love sharing their Maths knowledge with the class!

We had great fun outside creating expanded noun phrases. We also have finished our Mayan history topic!

Here are our final explanation texts on how chocolate is produced. The children worked so hard on these and should all be very proud! I most certainly am proud!

We have had a super week diving into explanation texts! This week we discovered how chocolate was made and produced our own explanation texts based on this. We have also started to plan our website for computing.

Wow! What a great first week back we have had. The children have settled in well and we have made a start with our new topics. Here we are working hard learning about explanation texts in English and ordering numbers in Maths.

Hi Wolves,

I hope you have all had a brilliant summer! I am really excited to welcome you back to school on Thursday. We have lots to look forward to this year and I can't wait to get started!

I will regularly update this page with pictures for you to share with your family so they can see the great things we get up to in class.
