Headteacher’s welcome

At Staverton Primary School, we believe education is about far more than results. It’s about belonging, curiosity, creativity and character. We are a small school with a big heart, serving our village and surrounding area with pride.

While many schools today are part of large multi-academy trusts, Staverton remains rooted in its own individuality. Our strength comes from our close-knit community: staff who go the extra mile, families who work in partnership, and children who are known, valued and celebrated as unique individuals.

Our vision: a life-giving tree

At the centre of our school is a striking mural of a tree filled with hundreds of birds, each one different and important. Inspired by Jesus’ Parable of the Mustard Seed, this tree is a powerful symbol of our vision – to be a life-giving tree for our children.

It reminds us daily that Staverton is a place where:

  • Every child belongs
  • Every child can flourish
  • Every child is encouraged to reach their potential

Every day is an open day

The best way to understand what makes Staverton special is to experience it for yourself. Whether you are a prospective parent, a neighbour, or a visitor to the area, we warmly invite you to come and see our school in action.

Yours Sincerely,

Edward Powe, Headteacher
