Care that fits around your family
We know that the school day doesn't always match the working day. That's why Staverton offers wrap-around care from 7:45am to 5:15pm, giving your child a settled start and end to their day – and giving you one less thing to juggle.
Whether you need an early drop-off before work, some extra time at the end of the day, or both, our wrap-around care is delivered by staff your child already knows, in the same building they learn in every day.
Who can attend
Wrap-around care is available to all children at Staverton, from Nestlings through to Year 6. Nestlings children join the same Breakfast Club and after-school sessions as school-age children, simply billed at the Nestlings hourly rate rather than the flat session fees.
Keeping your child safe
All wrap-around care sessions are run by our own staff team, who bring the same safeguarding standards, qualifications and familiarity to before-and after-school care as they do throughout the school day. Your child is never in the hands of an unfamiliar provider - just an extension of the same trusted team.
Breakfast club
Breakfast Club runs from 7:45am, giving children a calm, unhurried start to the day with the option of breakfast. A range of breakfast items are provided, such as toast, crumpets, cereal and fruit, before the school day begins.
After school/tea time
After the school day ends, children can stay on until 5:15pm, enjoying a range of activities including craft, reading, time outside and games. Children staying for the full session receive a light snack, such as a sandwich or pasta, in a relaxed, supervised environment. Fruit is also available for children attending the shorter 4:15pm session.
Booking and fees
Bookings are made via Scopay, under "Extended Day." You can book termly, or on an ad hoc/casual basis. Bookings need to be made at least 48 hours in advance – if you need next-day or same-day care, please call the school office on 01225 782 388 between 8:15am and 4:00pm.
