Together, we organise fun events, bring our school community together and raise money for the things that make a real difference. From improving school facilities to helping subsidise trips, activities and special experiences, every pound we raise goes straight back to benefiting our children. Our most popular events that we run include movie nights, the Story Festival and the Spring and Christmas Fayre.

Thanks to our amazing volunteers and supporters, we've been able to provide:
Our Preloved Uniform Shop is available throughout the year, helping families save money while supporting our school community. If you're looking for a specific item, please contact the FOSS team using the email address below, and we'll do our best to help. We also hold preloved uniform sales at our school events and at the end of each term. If you have any good-quality school uniform that your family no longer needs, we'd be very grateful for your donations. Simply place them in the uniform donation bin located in the school reception.

You don't need lots of free time to make a difference. Whether you can volunteer at an event, help behind the scenes, share ideas, or simply come along to support our fundraising activities, every contribution – big or small – helps create more opportunities for our children.
Our meetings are held after school to make it as easy as possible for everyone to attend. There's absolutely no expectation to come to every meeting – you can join us as often or as little as your time allows.
The Chair leads committee meetings, making sure everyone has the opportunity to contribute and that all views are heard. They also ensure committee members are familiar with FOSS policies, as well as their roles and responsibilities.
The Treasurer oversees the proper management and recording of FOSS's finances. While spending decisions are approved collectively by the committee, the Treasurer maintains accurate financial records, follows best practice when handling money, and provides regular financial updates to the committee.
The Secretary supports effective communication between FOSS and the wider school community. They also maintain accurate records, including meeting minutes and details of decisions made by the committee.
Everyone is welcome! You don't need to hold a committee role to get involved. Everyone is welcome to attend our committee meetings, or simply help out at events whenever you can. Every bit of support makes a difference, and we really appreciate your help!
The more people who get involved, the more we can achieve together. New faces, fresh ideas and extra pairs of hands are always welcome.
Together, we can make every child's time at Staverton School even more memorable.
